EAGLEBANK BOWL ANNOUNCES TICKET SALES/MARKETING PARTNERSHIP WITH WASHINGTON FREEDOM AND OFFICIAL TAILGATE TENT PACKAGE PROGRAM
Washington, D.C. – The EagleBank Bowl announced today that the bowl will partner with the Washington Freedom of the Women’s Professional Soccer league to sell group and VIP Experience ticket packages for the game.
The Freedom ticket sales team will work directly with the EagleBank Bowl to create the group and VIP Experience packages and promote advance ticket sales to the game. Other cross-marketing efforts will include grassroots marketing, Freedom player appearances during EagleBank Bowl events and web and social media promotions. This past season, the Washington Freedom played three doubleheaders at RFK Stadium, site of the EagleBank Bowl.
Along with this partnership, the bowl also announced the EagleBank Bowl Tailgate Tent program. Participants in the Tailgate Tent program, receive game tickets, bar and food catering, as well as a reserved heated tented tailgate space that holds up to 50 individuals. This program, which is available to both corporations and individuals, can be customized to fit any size or budget.
“We are thrilled to have the full resources of the Washington Freedom organization to assist with promoting this year’s game,” said Steve Beck, executive director of the EagleBank Bowl. “Their participation, along with innovative packages such as our Tailgate Tent program, will help further enhance our efforts to maximize attendance for the game and make the EagleBank Bowl the region’s premier bowl game experience.”

The EagleBank Bowl is a marquee sporting event in the greater Washington, D.C. area, and we are proud to be affiliated.”
This year’s EagleBank Bowl is set for Tuesday, December 29 at 4:30 p.m. at RFK Stadium. The game will match Army against a team from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). If Army is not bowl-eligible, a team from Conference USA will be selected as the ACC opponent. The Washington Freedom is a charter member of Women’s Professional Soccer (WPS). WPS is the premier women’s soccer league in the world and the global standard by which women’s professional sports are measured.
