DC Armor host Reading Express in DC Armory home opener April 4; Inaugural training camp to be February 26 – March 6

WHAT: ARMY STRONG.SM D.C. WRESTLING CLASSIC PRESENTED BY THE DC SPORTS AND ENTERTAINMENT COMMISSION

WHO: Over 85 of D.C.’s top high school wrestlers compete in 14 weight classes in invitational tournament. Winners qualify for the National Prep Wrestling Championships.

WHEN: Saturday, February 14, 2009
           Doors Open: 9 am
           Event begins: 9:30 am
           
WHERE: Walter E. Washington Convention Center
            Ballroom C (located on Level 3)
             Mount Vernon Place (between 7th and 9th Streets, NW) Washington, DC

TICKETS: Tickets are $11 for general admission. Available on event day only.

In keeping with its commitment to promote youth sports in Washington, D.C., the DC Sports and Entertainment Commission is hosting a wrestling invitational where 11 D.C. high schools compete in 14 weight classes. Award ceremonies follow each weight class championship. Team and Outstanding Wrestler trophy presentations will take place following the competition.
