DC ROLLERGIRLS ROCK THE ARMORY
DC DemonCats claw past Cherry Blossom Bombshells for second win this season

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The DC Armory was jammin’ Saturday as the DC DemonCats clawed their way to a 79-47 victory over the Cherry Blossom Bombshells before 1,257 rowdy fans. The DemonCats’ win puts them in the league lead with a 2-1 record on the season.

Roller derby fans were also treated to the national debut performance of the Body Armor, the dance team for D.C.’s new professional indoor football team - the DC Armor. The Body Armor rocked the house with performances before the expo bout and during halftime of the main event. The DC Armor host the Reading Express in their home opener on Saturday, April 4 at the DC Armory.

Action-packed roller derby excitement continues on Saturday, March 14 when the DC DemonCats take on Scare Force One. The bout is a rematch of last season’s championship when Scare Force One captured their second consecutive title.
